Photography was once our great conveyor of the insufficient. There's basic information, proudly unusable. What you thought was there was not there, and you too become unusable. A double impenetrable. Contrary to our age, photography completely disproved coordinates (the diary aides, but not police-work; it is pure paper). Photography is at least two, and never one. To the point of cliche: Bresson's fake film-within-the-film in Four Nights of Dreamer: the dying pulls out a photomaton of his beloved. Photography:
They carry nativeness / To a conclusion / In suicide.
We want to defend / Limitation / And do not know how.
